Boxer Rescue is a nonprofit organization founded in 2005. Our parent organization, the well-known Boxer Rescue Los Angeles (Boxer Rescue Fund Inc.), was founded in 1977 out of love and fierce determination by Ursula Sauthier. Today, Boxers and Buddies provides a safe, humane sanctuary for abandoned Boxers who are waiting to be adopted. Boxers and Buddies is funded solely by private donation. Our entire organization is run by a dedicated team of volunteers. Our group works for the love of the breed and to see dogs find homes. Boxers and Buddies Website

Res-Que

An awesome team of rescuers pulling, fostering and re-homing dogs from Northern Nevada and Northern California shelters. Spay, neuter and educate.
Res-Que is a registered 501c3 non profit all breed dog rescue located in Reno, Nevada. We adopt dogs mainly in the Northern Nevada / California area. We work with many small outlying shelters to rescue dogs and find them forever homes.
Res-Que was founded by Rhonda Shafer in 2009 as a distributor of dog food and supplies for local rescues. In 2015 Rhonda transfered the 501c3 to a group of dedicated rescuers. Res-Que Website

Northern Nevada Bulldog Rescue

Mission Statement
The mission of the Northern Nevada Bulldog Rescue is to take in homeless and surrendered Bulldogs and provide them with care and housing until a forever home can be found. We will strive to do what it takes to educate prospective owners about this wonderful breed and help them understand bulldogs and their needs.
GOAL
Our goal is to never turn away a Bulldog needing a home and to never judge an owner for turning in their dog. Through a thorough screening process we will strive to find a stable, loving home for the dogs and help the adoption go smoothly for both the new family and the Bulldog. We will only place dogs that are spayed or neutered (unless medical issues prevent us from doing so) as one of our primary concerns is to reduce the risk of more homeless dogs through improper or accidental breeding. Tahoe Husky Rescue

The purpose of the corporation shall be to care for abused, neglected, or unwanted Siberian Huskies, Alaskan Huskies, and Husky/Mix breeds. Especially those needing rescue from other shelters that may be full or high kill. At this time we do not take "owner surrender" huskies, however will try to assist in finding them a home. Every husky deserves to be given a chance to be loved and to live a long, healthy, and happy life. If we are able to provide this opportunity to as many as we can, then we’ve done our job. A FURever home makes for a FURever happy husky!

We also work closely with Washoe County Regional Animal Services, as well as our local Petsmarts and Petcos. As such we are familiar with many of the exotics they house there.
